Looking for Danny — Rosewood Park, Manchester, 2003
Every Saturday for one summer a group of us played football on the far pitch at Rosewood Park, and Danny was the one who organised the teams. He called me 'keeper' because I never once played outfield. We talked about leaving town after our exams. The last game was in late August and he said he was moving to his dad's in Leeds. I never got a surname and none of the old crowd stayed in touch.

Around 16-17 at the time · male · Tall, curly hair, wore a faded Oasis t-shirt and always turned up with a battered leather ball.
