Two switches, both yours
Share my location and be findable by name are separate, reversible and off by default. Turn one off and the stored position is deleted immediately.
The stranger you met at 9pm
The room quietly records that two people were near each other — Tuesday, 9pm, 40 minutes. No name, no photo. Afterwards either can ask to connect.
Identity only after two yeses
A connection request reveals names and opens messaging only when both people accept. Decline and the moment disappears for both of you.

Nothing for you to build or host
You don't run a server, a map or a database. Attendees download noknokk, join your room and the room closes shortly after the event ends.

You never hold attendee location data
Positions are consent-based, approximate, single-point and deleted on the way out. Organisers, promoters and sponsors are never given or sold them.

How a room runs
Before
We open a room with your name, dates and location, and you share it in your comms, app, guide or signage.
During
People join, add their crew both ways, and switch sharing on when they want to be found. Moments near other members are logged privately.
After
Positions are deleted, the room closes, and anyone can ask to connect with a person they were near — identity revealed only on mutual acceptance.
Privacy is the product, not the disclaimer
Consent is separate for joining, sharing a position and being findable, and revocable at any time. Positions are approximate, stored as a single current point with no history, scoped to one event and deleted shortly after it ends — never sold, never given to organisers or advertisers. It is enforced twice: in our own checks and again in the database itself.
